Mustangs pile up diamond wins at tourney

BEAUMONT — The West Orange-Stark Mustangs snagged some big victories at the West Brook Tournament over the weekend.
The Mustangs roped Liberty 11-3. Chad Dallas got the win on the hill, working five innings, striking out 12 and allowing just one hit.
He was 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and two runs batted in. Justin Veitch was 1-for-2 with two RBI. Kaleb Istre was 1-for-3 with a RBI. Blake Robinson was 1-for-1 and scored and William Robles was 1-for-1 and walked three times.
The Mustangs toppled Beaumont Central 11-6 as Jacob Dominguez nabbed the win on the hill, pitching 4 2/3 innings of relief and allowing two hits while fanning one.
Robinson was 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBI and three runs scored. Dallas was 2-for-4 with a double and scored twice. Kaleb Ramsey was 2-for-4 and scored. Jerren Terrell was 2-for-3 with two RBI and Brennan Gamble was 2-for-3 with a RBI. Veitch was 1-for-4 and plated a run.
The Mustangs throttled Beaumont Ozen 11-1.

Dominguez was 2-for-3 with three RBI. Ramsey was 2-for-4 with a RBI. Jalen Thompson was 2-for-3 with a double.
