Bobcats crush Centerville in Anderson-Shiro event

ANDERSON — Eight runs in the fourth inning led the Orangefield Bobcats past Centerville 13-1 on Thursday in the Anderson-Shiro Tournament.
The offensive onslaught came by Ryan Deutsch, by Brett Fregia, an error on a ball put in play by Blake Bradley, and a double by Mason Gonzales.
The Bobcats fired up the offense in the first inning. Johnny Armstrong hit a solo homer.
Bradley was credited with the victory for Bobcats. He allowed three hits and one run over four and two-thirds innings, striking out nine. Kadeon Evans threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Gonzales led the Bobcats with two hits in three at bats.
The Bobcats move to 3-1-1 and will play Rockdale at 3:30 p.m. Friday followed by Anderson Shiro at 5:45 p.m.
