JASPER — The Orangefield Lady Bobcats went 2-0 in the Jasper Tournament Thursday.

They defeated Beaumont Kelly 8-4 in their first game.

Kaylee Ancelot got the win on the mound throwing a complete game giving up four runs on five hits with six strikeouts.

Karlye Bramblett went 1-for-3 with a single and a run scored. Emma Humplik went 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Kaylee Ancelot went 2-for-3 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored. Tiffany Ciancaglione went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and two RBI. Autumn Frost went 1-for-3 with a double. Kristin Broussard went 2-for-2 with a run scored and a stolen base.

In their second game, the Lady Cats downed host Jasper 4-1.

Codie Sorge got the win on the mound going four innings, giving up one run on three hits with four strikeouts. Kaylee Ancelot got the final three outs of the game with a strikeout.

Emma Humplik went 1-for-2 with a walk, home run and two RBI. Kaylee Ancelot went 1-for-3 with a home run to tie the game. Autumn Frost scored a run with two stolen bases.
