PRESS RELEASE:

BEAUMONT – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is urging Texans in Southeast Texas to minimize travel on the roadways due to rapidly deteriorating weather conditions.

During freezing conditions, roads, bridges and elevated structures will be impacted and can make driving dangerous. DPS urges motorists to pay attention to worsening road conditions and to avoid elevated structures that are prone to freeze in our area.

DPS is closely monitoring weather conditions.
