Marla “Gayle” Morvent passed away peacefully on Monday, November 6, 2017, at her home in Nova Scotia, Canada.  A long time resident of Buna and an employee of Lamar State College-Orange, she is survived by her grandson, Jaidyn Jackson, her daughter Crystal Morvent, her son Buddy Morvent, and her husband Gerry Hannam.
