Three injured in crash on FM 105 in Orange County

PRESS RELEASE — At approximately 9:30a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of FM 105 and FM 1132 in Orange County.
Initial reports indicate that a 2011 Ford pickup truck was stopped at a traffic light when the vehicle was rear-ended by the driver of a 2005 Nissan passenger vehicle. The driver of the Ford was stopped at a red light waiting to make a left turn onto FM 1132 when his vehicle was struck from behind by the Nissan.
The driver of the Nissan, 66-year-old Sharon Fetterrolf of Silsbee, was transported by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries to her lower extremities.
The driver, 69-year-old Warren Wylie, and his wife, Arlin Wylie of Vidor, were both transported to St. Elizabeth hospital. However, the extent of their injuries are unknown.
At this time, there is heavy traffic congestion near the area of the crash. Motorists are urged to slow down and stay alert for slow moving traffic.
