Softball wrap: Lady Cats split in Woodville

WOODVILLE — The Orangefield Lady Bobcats went 1-1 at the Woodville Tournament Friday.
The Lady Bobcats defeated Kirbyville 3-1.Kaylee Ancelot got the win on the hill, allowing two hits while striking out five.
Ancelot also belted a home run. Kristin Broussard was 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Tiffany Ciangclione was 1for-3 and scored and Faith Fregia had a RBI.
The Lady Bobcats fell to Huntington 5-4.
Ancelot absorbed the loss, allowing seven hits while striking out six.
Ancelot was 3-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and two runs scored. Autumn Frost was 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Karlye Bramblett was 1-for-3 and scored and Kinley McFarlin was 1-for-2 with two RBI.-
LC-M girls
At the Liberty-Huffman Tournament Friday, the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears dropped a 5-3 decision to Tarkington.
Maddie Murdock had a triple along with JoAnna Henry for the Lady Bears while Morgan Weaver had a hit.
WO-S girls
In the WO-S Lady Mustang Softball Tournament Friday the Lady Mustangs dropped a tight 11-9 decision to East Chambers and fell to Deweyville 17-6.
