The severe thunderstorm that moved through our area earlier this morning left over 6,000 members without power. JNEC and contractor crews are working to restore power to the members who are affected by this severe weather event.

Please call Jasper-Newton Electric Cooperative at 1-800-231-9340 to report an outage. Due to a high call volume, you may experience a delay in reaching a representative. If so, you may also report your outage by sending us an email at: outages@jnec.com.  Please include your name, account number, meter number where the outage is located and a call-back number.

We would like to remind the public that if you encounter a downed power line, please stay away and contact JNEC.
