Flooding a possibility through Wednesday

Everyone should remain careful and alert for possible flooding across the area and throughout Southeast Texas.

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a flood warning for Cow Bayou in Orange County until 1:15 Wednesday.

At 1:11 p.m. Tuesday, reporting gauges indicated minor flooding is still occurring along Cow Bayou.

Some locations that will experience flooding include locations along the bayou from the Jasper County line to Interstate 10.

A flood warning continues for the Sabine River near Deweyville until further notice.

At 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, the stage was 24 feet. Minor flooding is occurring and continues in the forecast.

The river will continue rising to near 24.4 feet by early Thursday morning then begin to fall.
