BC lifters shine at Nederland Meet

NEDERLAND — On Thursday night, the Bridge City Powerlifting Team participated in the Nederland Invitational Meet. Overall the girls placed first and the boys placed third. Individual results are as follows:
On the girls’ side:
Shania Dies placed first in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 525 pounds.
Tina Radinovic placed 5th in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 440 pounds.
Alyssa Fukuda placed first in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 660 pounds.
Carlee Dearing placed first in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 715 pounds.
Lacey Pender placed fifth in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 510 pounds.
Samantha Hargrave placed first in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 675 pounds.
Autumn Magnuson placed second in her weight class by lifting a total weiht of 590 pounds.
Emily Warren placed first in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 845 pounds.
Chloe LeJeune placed third in her weight class, by lifting a total weight of 600 pounds.
For the boys;
Nolan Moore placed first in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 725 pounds.
Alex Williams placed fourth in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 515 pounds.
Floyd Martin placed second in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 685 pounds.
Jacob Trahan placed first in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 1,090 pounds.
Tyler Tran placed second in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 960 pounds.
Colt Poole placed fourth in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 1165 pounds.
Zayne Trahan placed third in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 1300 pounds.
Seth Gree placed second in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 1155 pounds.
Joseph Adams placed third in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 1145 pounds.
Nick Menard placed fourth in his weight class, by lifting a total weight of 1130 pounds.
The Bridge City Powerlifting Team will be traveling to Lumberton for the Lumberton Invitational on Feb. 18.
