ORANGE — The Orange County Retired Teachers will meet at 10:30 a.m. January 13 at Wesley United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 401 N. 37th St.

The speaker will be Gina Rogers, director of The Women’s Care Center located in Vidor. It is a Christian- based recovery center for women. OCRT is collecting canned goods for this center. If you did not bring canned goods to the last meeting, please bring them on January 13. 

Volunteer hours need to be turned in to Ginger Williams. 

The meeting agenda also includes an update from Tim Lee on the timeline for implementing the Social Security Fairness Act signed by President Biden on Jan. 5.  

All Orange County retired teachers and school personnel are invited. Help keep the local and state organizations strong. Refreshments will be served.
