In February, Jeromey Fontenot, 40, moved into the city limits of Lake Charles, LA without notifying Lake Charles Police Department Sex Offender Registry Division as required by law.  Jeromey Fontenot was aware of registering with Lake Charles Police Department as he had done so in 2012, prior to moving. Fontenot was convicted in the state of Texas, 1998, for Sexual Assault of a Child. Fontenot’s victim was a 16 year old female and he was 22 years old at the time of the offense. Jeromey Fontenot is a Tier 2 Sex Offender who is required to register for 25 years.
