Vidor man charged with child porn possession

VIDOR — A Vidor man was arrested on a charge of possession of child pornography following the execution of a search warrant Thursday.
David Duane Parker, 53, is in the Orange County Jail with bond set at $75,000, according to information from the jail roster.
Vidor Police Chief Rod Carroll said they received a tip from the Department of Homeland Security that led them to an IP address in Vidor.
A search warrant was executed at a home in the 1200 block of North Main. During the search officers located several items and arrested Parker at that time, he said.
The crime is a third-degree felony punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.
