The National Hurricane Center shared expected weather impacts for Southeast Texas as it continues to monitor the southern Gulf of Mexico / Bay of Campeche for tropical development.
That will continue through the next several days.
“Regardless of development, heavy rainfall is expected across Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana from Sunday through mid next week,” a Center release stated.
“Higher than normal tides and breezy conditions are also anticipated.”
