PORT ARTHUR — The deadline for tickets to the 22nd Annual Gulf Coast Gala benefitting the Museum of the Gulf Coast in Port Arthur is April 11. 

Tickets, which are $150, may be purchased online at museumofthegulfcoast.org, by calling 409-982-7000 and asking for Becky or Tom or by calling 409-720-9912. 

This year’s gala includes rare whiskey flights, speciality drink offerings, Buckstin craft beer, an expanded silent auction, elegant meal and concert entertainment by The 3 Redneck Tenors. The event will be held at the Carl Parker Multipurpose Center, 1800 Lakeshore Drive, Port Arthur.

Doors open early at 5:30 p.m. April 26 to allow patrons a chance to mingle and check out the whiskey flights and speciality drinks (not included in ticket price) and hors d’oeuvres. There are also non-alcoholic beverages available. 

Museum Director Tom Neal said this year’s gala is not a black tie event. Instead it is cocktail and business attire. 

The 2025 Hall of Fame, Gala Honorees are Wade and Laurie Phillips. 

Proceeds from the gala go to the Museum to help with events such as Family Fun Day and Museum operations. 

 “The Museum is kind of a cheerleader for the community,” Neal said, adding people visit from near and far and even locals come out and learn new things. 

This year’s corporate sponsor is Motiva.
