Beaumont bicyclist dies in Orange County auto-ped crash

ORANGE COUNTY — A 44-year-old Beaumont man has been identified as the bicyclist killed in an auto-pedestrian crash Sunday.
He is identified as Israel Brumley.
The crash occurred on FM 1131 near the intersection of Apple Pie Ridge Road.

Preliminary crash investigation showed that at approximately 8:36 p.m. Sunday a bicyclist was traveling west on the outside shoulder and for an unknown reason, traveled into the main lane and was struck by a 2013 Nissan Titan, according to information from DPS.
A Justice of the Peace pronounced the bicyclist deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan, identified as 30-year-old William Dodson III of Jasper, was not injured.
