Country legend Willie Nelson to perform in Beaumont this October

Local country music fans will be in for a treat when the legendary Willie Nelson brings his talents to Southeast Texas in October.

The 91-year-old is bringing his Willie Nelson & Family Tour to Doggett Ford Park Pavilion in Beaumont, Oct. 20.

Tickets go on sale at noon Aug. 30. They are available at doggettfordpark.com.

“We are thrilled to add another great concert to our fall lineup with legend Willie Nelson. It will be a memorable night and a bucket list event for many in our area.” OVG’s Claudio Oliveira, General Manager of Doggett Ford Park said via press release.

Nelson has enjoyed a seven-decade music career. In recent years, he has delivered more than a dozen new albums, released a Top 10 New York Times’ bestsellers book, again headlined Farm Aid (an event he co-founded in 1985) and his annual Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic, been honored by the Library of Congress with their Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, received his 5th degree black belt in Gong Kwon Yu Sul, headlined the annual Luck Reunion food and music festival during SXSW, launched his cannabis companies Willie’s Reserve and Willie’s Remedy, and graced the covers of Rolling Stone and AARP The Magazine, according to the release.
