Orangefield spotlights 2024 valedictorian and salutatorian

ORANGEFIELD — The Orangefield High School Class of 2024 valedictorian is Kaitlyn Jenkins and the salutatorian is Logan Cheek.
Jenkins is a member of the volleyball team, National Honor Society, Interact Club, Art Club and Student Council.
She has been a member of UIL Academics teams throughout high school. She has advanced to the state competition in Computer Applications.

Jenkins will be attending Tulane in the fall to major in Architecture.
Cheek is an athlete, participating in football, basketball and baseball. He earned 1st Team All District his junior year in baseball and 1st Team Academic All State his senior year.
He also earned 1st Team Academic All State for football his senior year.
In addition to sports, Cheek is a member of National Honor Society.
He will be attending Texas A&M University to major in chemical engineering.
