Severe weather is possible Thursday night into Friday morning as a cold front moves through the region, according to weather watchers.

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles, La., said damaging wind is the highest threat, but large hail and tornadoes are also possible.

In addition to this, there is a risk of flash flooding.

“We also would like to take this time to mention the risk of flooding on Sunday and Monday,” a weather service release stated.
