On Tuesday, the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for the Workforce Solutions of Southeast Texas new location serving Orange County.

The Workforce Solutions office is now located at 2266 MacArthur Drive in Orange.

Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas leaders said the new center represents a significant milestone in the development of Orange County, offering expanded opportunities for job seekers and employers.

With an expansive 12,000 square feet of space, the new workforce center plays a crucial role in facilitating job growth and economic development in the region.

Executive Director of Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas Mary Hammon said the center helps better serve the needs of job seekers in Orange County.

It provides a range of services, including job fairs, job search assistance and other essential resources for job seekers, including subsidized childcare.

Additionally, employers in the area can benefit from the center’s services, including recruitment assistance, customized hiring events and workforce development programs.
