Workforce Solutions supporting Orange County growth, expansion with new facility and job fair

Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas is celebrating the opening of a new workforce center location at 2266 MacArthur Drive in Orange.
Organizers said the new center represents a significant milestone in the development of Orange County, offering expanded opportunities for job seekers and employers.
With an expansive 12,000 square feet of space, the new workforce center plays a crucial role in facilitating job growth and economic development in the region.
Executive Director of Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas Mary Hammon said the center helps better serve the needs of job seekers in Orange County.
It provides a range of services, including job fairs, job search assistance and other essential resources for job seekers, including subsidized childcare.
Additionally, employers in the area can benefit from the center’s services, including recruitment assistance, customized hiring events and workforce development programs.
To mark the opening of the new location, Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas in collaboration with Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
This is being followed by the Orange County Spring Job Fair, starting at 10 a.m.
Job seekers attending the event can have access to computers in the resource room and the Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas mobile lab.
The new Orange workforce center represents a significant investment in the future of Orange County, providing valuable support and resources to individuals and businesses.
