Enjoy hands-on learning for the basics of a sewing machine, hand sewing pattern cutting and sewing projects to take home.

A three-day class covering all those topics is planned on Saturdays in April.

Class days are April 6, 13 and 20. Class times are 9 a.m. to noon each day at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office, 11475 FM 1442 in Orange.

The cost is $40 per person.

Sewing machines, materials and supplies are provided with the cost.
