Norman Lee Petitt, 84, of Orange, TX passed away in a local hospital on July 24, 2020 in Sulphur, LA.

Norman was born on September 20, 1935 to Lonnie and Dorothy Petitt in Rio Hondo, TX. He enjoyed wood working, playing cards, and retired from Masonite a sawmill in California.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 65 years, Betty Petitt of Orange, TX; five children, Norman Ray Petitt, Kenneth Lee Petitt, Vanessa Joyce Petitt Criss, Sarah Jean Franke, and Betty Ann Petitt; 17 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren; loving mother, Dorothy Petitt; and one sister, Belva Jean Petitt.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Eddie Petitt.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Hackberry Community Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
