ANAHUAC – A big fourth quarter rally powered the Anahuac Lady Panthers to a 44-42 upset victory over the Orangefield Lady Bobcats in District 22-3A action at Panthers’ Gym.

The Lady Panthers outscored the Lady Bobcats (26-12, 10-3) 18-11 in the fourth quarter to squeeze out the victory.

Joli Ponfick led the Lady Bobcats (26-12, 10-3) with 12 points and eight rebounds.

Harleigh Rawls filtered in 11 points and had three rebounds. Jacey Bourque had seven points and four boards. Faith Fregia notched five points, four steals and three rebounds while Madison Greenway hauled down nine rebounds.

The Lady Bobcats will look to bounce back Tuesday at home in a big battle with old rival Buna.
