SOUR LAKE – The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears fell to District 22-4A favorite Hardin-Jefferson 74-44 on the road Friday night.

The Lady Bears (1-2 in district) were led by Zaria Johnson’s 15 points. Chelsea Perry had 10 points and two steals for LC-M while Amber Lester added six points and four rebounds.

The Lady Bears will visit Beaumont Kelly in non-district action before resuming 22-4A play at home against Lumberton Friday.

In other 22-4A action Friday, Silsbee defeated Bridge City 49-38 as the Lady Cardinals dropped to 0-2 in district play.
