PRESS RELEASE — Last night Little Cypress-Mauriceville School District officials were made aware of a possible threat against Little Cypress Elementary School. The Orange Police Department investigated the issue and deemed it not credible.

In an abundance of caution, there will be several Orange Police Department officers as well as District Administrators on the campus today. The safety of students and staff is the top priority of the District and if there were any questions or doubts about their safety, we would not convene school.
