Lady Bobcats to face Danbury in best-of-three series in Crosby

- Van Wade/Orange Leader Orangefield's Alyssa Dodd and her Lady Bobcat teammates will face Danbury in a best-of-three Class 3A regional quarterfinals series in Crosby Friday and Saturday.
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats will look to continue their dominance in Region III softball as they will face the Danbury Lady Panthers in a best-of-three series in the Class 3A Region III quarterfinals.
All games will be played at Crosby High School.
Game One will be Friday at 7 p.m. Game Two will be Saturday at 3 p.m. and Game Three, if necessary, will follow 30 minutes after Game Two.
The Lady Bobcats (23-8) blanked New Waverly 6-0 last week after downing Corrigan-Camden 6-3 in the bidistrict round.
Danbury (24-5), District 24-4A champions, toppled Pollok Central 5-3 last week and defeated Trinity 10-0 in bidistrict.
