The Community Christian school junior high softball team went undefeated this season and claimed a district championship for the 2nd year in a row. They are coached by Wade Wright and play in the DBSL league playing schools from Orange to Beaumont. Standout players include Ava Wright-pitcher and catcher, Isabel Sylestine-pitcher and catcher, and Shelby Duke-catcher and shortstop. Besides working hard the girls had a blast. All season the girls heard  Coach Wright call to them, “The ball don’t have teeth. It’s not going to bite you!” The girls’ ages ranged from 5th-8th grade.
