A night of theater, food, and fun will benefit a local organization with a tradition of helping those in need.
Southeast Texas Hospice will hold its 24th annual Mystery Dinner Theater event at 6:30 p.m., Monday, April 8, and Tuesday, April 9, at St. Mary Parish Hall, 912 W. Cherry in Orange. Tickets are $30 per person and may be purchased in advance at the hospice office. Reservations can be made by calling 409-886-0622 or 800-749-3497.
It’s a ‘Who Done It’ when Dr. Stanley Rollingstone discovers some ancient and startling scriptures from the caves of Qumrum. The good doctor is offering to sell the scrolls, which will change Christianity, as we know it, to some religious leaders around the world.
While making the deal, the doctor meets with his maker.
Then the real fun begins as the audience tries to solve the murder before the other religious leaders get their hands on ‘The Fifth Gospel.’
Along with food and fun, a silent auction will be held and there will be lots of door prizes.
Sponsors of the event are Christus Health Systems, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Frosted, and Granger Chevrolet.
Nolan LeBlanc, president of the Board of Directors for Southeast Texas Hospice, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
