The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce recognized this outstanding Employee of the Month for March to Ashton Knox from West Orange-Cove CISD. “She is the Executive Director of Curriculum & Instruction and is responsible for WOCCISD curriculum at all grade levels—Pre-kindergarten through 12. The enormity of this task alone would be reason enough for nomination for Employee of the Month, but she makes our team stronger in many other areas as well. She has played an important role in the bond process–from supporting presentations to working with furniture vendors to support student academic success. She is also responsible for staff development plans district-wide. Additionally, Mrs. Knox supports our campus leadership. She is also pursuing her doctorate degree; and at the same time, is a wife, and a mother to two young boys. There has never been a time when she has not been willing to help out whenever and wherever she has been needed.
