KOUNTZE — The Orangefield Lady Bobcats traveled to Kountze and defeated the Lady Lions 11-0 in 6 innings to move to 5-1 in District 22-3A play.

Codie Sorge got the win on the mound for the Lady Bobcats (15-6, 5-1) as she gave up just two hits and fanned 11 Lady Lions.

Ryden Stanfield went 1 for 3 with a run scored, a walk, a RBI and three stolen bases. Bailee South had an RBI. Codie Sorge had an RBI. Emma Humplik went 2 for 4 with two runs scored. Tiffany Ciancaglione had a hit with a RBI and two runs scored.

Alyssa Dodd went 2 for 3 with two doubles, a RBI, a stolen base and three runs scored. Heather Mineer had a RBI, a stolen base and a run scored. Madison Hughes went 1 for 1 with a RBI. Olivia Grant went 1 for 3 with a RBI and a run scored. Hannah Dupuis was 1 for 2 with a double, a walk and a run scored.

The Lady Bobcats will host the Hardin Lady Hornets on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. for Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night.
