PRESS RELEASE — On February 14, 2019 the Lake Charles Police Department received a call about a drive by shooting in the 600 block of 11^th Street in Lake Charles.

During the course of the investigation it was found that a verbal altercation occurred at the Shell Station located at Enterprise and College Street between two parties.

The victim left this location after the verbal altercation ended. The victim arrived at a residence on 11^th Street and upon exiting out of the vehicle he arrived in, he observed the same vehicle he had the altercation with at the gas station parked in front of the 11^th Street address.

The victim advised upon him exiting out of the vehicle he was in, the passenger to the suspect vehicle exited out of the suspect vehicle and shot approximately 4 to 5 times towards his direction.

The victim was not struck but advised he was grazed by one of the bullets. The suspects then fled the location.
