Payne’s Pantry: Taco Bombs

Taco Bombs are one of the favorites that my friends, Sandra and Jimmy Cash of Orange, cook while on the river. This easy-to-make finger food is a crowd pleaser.

 

Ingredients:

Two pounds of ground chuck

One packet of spicy taco seasoning

One bag of Tostitos corn cups

One 8 oz bag of shredded, mild cheddar cheese

One container of Pico de Gallo sauce

 

Brown the chuck and mix in (1) one packet of spicy taco seasoning with a little added water.  Simmer for 15 min.

Spoon the taco mix into the corn cups and sprinkle on the cheese. Bake or grill for a few minutes to melt the cheese and then spread the Pico over all the cups.  Thank you, Cash family!
