Payne’s Pantry: Cherry Chops

Equipment needed:
Large to medium-sized pan or casserole dish with cover
Vegetable cooking spray
1 large cooking spoon
Ingredients:
2 boneless butterfly pork chops (I buy two and cut in half)
Salt, pepper according to taste
I can cherry pie filling (or apple)
2 Tbsp butter (1 Tbsp on each)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Spray pan with cooking spray.
Place pork chops in pan. Salt and pepper. Spoon cherry pie filling (or apple) over chops. Top with butter. Bake, covered, about 45 minutes. Remember how our moms and grandmas wanted to make certain pork was done! Serve with baked sweet potato fries.
