ORANGEFIELD — Inching closer to their 20^th win of the season, the Orangefield Lady Bobcats thumped the Hamshire-Fannett Lady Longhorns 12-2 in five innings in District 22-4A play at Lady Bobcat Field Friday night.

Kaylee Ancelot got the win on the mound, going five innings, giving up two earned runs on six hits with six strikeouts.

Karlye Bramblett went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and a stolen base. Kinley Gipson went 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, two runs scored and four RBIs. Olivia Grant went 1-for-1 with an RBI and a run scored. Emma Humplik went 3-for-3 with a triple, a run scored and an RBI. Kristin Broussard went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a stolen base.

The Lady Bobcats improve to 19-5-1 on the year and 2-1 in district play and take on Silsbee Tuesday night at home with JV beginning at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity at 6:30 p.m.
