VIDOR — The Orangefield Bobcats dropped a 49-45 decision to the Vidor Pirates Friday night.

The game was tied at 33-33 entering the fourth period and the Pirates outscored the Bobcats 16-12 in the final eight minutes to nab the win.

Aven Lathrop led the Bobcats with 12 points. Alex Catt had 10 points and snared seven rebounds. Dylan Williams had eight points while Zach Dischler had four rebounds, four assists and three steals.

The Bobcats will return home Tuesday to host Tarkington.
