Special to The Leader
What does the Little Cypress-Mauriceville staff do when the students leave? Start training for next year, of course. Secretaries from each campus got together on Tuesday for a little “Flamingle” (see flamingo decorations in photo) and some end of year training.
The meeting was centered on procedures relating to State & Federal Programs for the 2017-2018 school year and updates and changes to new laws from the Texas Education Agency & the U.S. Department of Education. Being technologically savvy, using Office 365 Programs for efficiency in collecting, reporting, and maintaining data was also emphasized.
According to Laurie Gordon, Director of State and Federal Programs for the District, “Input from these awesome LCM valuable resources was greatly appreciated. We’d like to thank all of them for being, organized, resourceful, supportive, helpful, multitasking, peacekeeping, and irreplaceable!”
