Filing nears end for Special Election

City and School Board elections will wrap up on Saturday as the City of Orange prepares for a special election for Council District 2.
The last day to file for a place on the ballot is 5 p.m. Monday, May 8. To file the application in person at City of Orange, 803 West Green Ave., Room 201 in Orange.
If mailing the application, send to: City of Orange, Attn. Patricia Anderson, City Secretary, P.O. Box 520, Orange, Texas, 77631.
The date for the special election is Saturday, July 22.
For the current elections, voting is from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 6 at the following locations:
