Multiple lane closures on Interstate 10 in Orange County

ROSE CITY, Texas – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) will conduct a crash reconstruction causing multiple lane closures on Interstate 10, near mile marker 861, in Orange County, Texas beginning at 9a.m. on April 26, 2017. The Texas Department of Transportation will assist DPS with all traffic control devices and equipment.
All Eastbound traffic lanes of Interstate 10 in Rose City will close from 9a.m. to Noon, the westbound traffic lanes will close from Noon to 3p.m.
Motorists traveling westbound on Interstate 10 from the Louisiana and Orange areas are urged to use the following detour: FM 105 North in Vidor to US 96 South near Evadale back to IH-10 in Beaumont.
Motorists traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 from the Beaumont and Houston areas are urged to use US 69 South in Beaumont to Highway 73 then to Highway 87 in Port Arthur to Highway 62 North in Orange. Then Highway 62 North in Orange back to IH-10 in Orange.
Motorist traveling in the area of the crash reconstruction should drive cautiously, observe all warning signs and follow directions from law enforcement officers and other traffic control devices in the area.
In the event of inclement weather, the crash reconstruction will be delayed.
