BEAUMONT — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears boys golf team fired a season-best 332 and finished seventh out of 30 teams while Orangefield finished a solid ninth at the Beaumont Schools Tournament at Bayou Din

Beaumont Kelly won the tournament , Deer Park was second, Nederland third, Vidor fourth, Atascosita fifth, and West Brook sixth.

Evan Toohey led the Bear arsenal with a 79 followed by teammates Jack Tindel (82), Trey Love (84), Blade Broussard (87) and Spencer Johns (90).

The Bobcats consisted of Logan Risinger (83), Hunter Christman (92), Brock Cross (99), Ryan Braxton (100), and Blake Love (105).
