The deadline to submit applications for nominees for the 2017 LCM Awards is April 7, 2017. This will be the sixth year that Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD has recognized alumni, staff, and community members with induction into the Hall of Fame, Distinguished Alumni, and Military Wall of Honor.

The “LCM Hall of Fame” is to recognize and honor an individual of the utmost character and integrity who has made an extraordinary impact on the LCM District, either by their service and dedication or by extraordinary financial support.

The “LCM Distinguished Alumni Award” recognizes and honors graduates who have distinguished themselves in a manner that brings honor and/or positive recognition to the LCM District and community.

The “LCM Military Wall of Honor” is the District’s way of demonstrating respect, appreciation, and indebtedness for the service of LCM alumni or staff who have served in the armed forces.

A Board of Trustees-approved committee will review the applications received later this spring and begin notifying those who are selected to be recipients. The recognition reception and recognition event will be scheduled for one of the home football games in the fall.

Applications can be downloaded and inductees of previous years viewed on the District website at www.lcmcisd.org. They are both found under the “Community” tab.
