LC-M’s Toohey wins Anahuac event; Bears finish second

ANAHUAC— Little Cypress-Mauriceville’s Evan Toohey captured first-place at the Anahuac Golf Tournament at the Chambers County Golf Course.
Toohey shot a sizzling 77 to nail down first-place. The Bear team finished with a score of 334 to nab second-place, finishing just two shots behind champion Beaumont West Brook (332).
Teammate Trey Love connected on a season-best 82. Jack Tindel shot a 87 for the Bears while Blade Broussard had a 88 and Spencer Johns shot a 93.
