Students from St. Mary Catholic School attended the School Choice Rally at the State Capitol in Austin, Texas. Students ranging from sixth grade to eighth grade participated in a march on the Capitol grounds to the front of the Capitol. They were able to show their support by carrying signs supporting School Choice along with chanting and rallying. Students that attended the rally are Zack Keszeg, Mark Pesek, Jo’Nire Pete, Emilie Mayfield, Amiyah LeBlanc, Grace Gautreaux, Thomas Abshire, Jaci Doucet, Jacob Gonzalez, Aidan McAllister and Reagan Pitre. They toured the capital and visited with some of our Congressmen.  Mrs. Melissa Pousson and Mrs. Angie Smith accompanied the students. A grant from Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops was awarded for the students to attend.
