Two men from Orange arrested in connection to Port Arthur murder

Port Arthur police announced that the arrest of two suspects from Orange in connection with a December 2016 murder.
Rasheed Edwards was shot to death in a motel parking lot December 29 at the Baymont Hotel off of State Highway 73 in Port Arthur.
Edwards was shot in the neck, later dying at the scene.
The first suspect, Antonio Lovell Richard, 24, was arrested January 9 in Oakdale, Louisiana on a murder warrant with the assistance of the Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office where he is currently being held.
The second suspect, Iterreious Devaughn Simien, 23, was taken into custody without incident in Orange on a murder warrant and being held at the Orange County jail. His bond on the murder charges $500,000 and a violation of Community Supervision child support no bond.
