The William Diamond Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution of Orange County gives Good Citizen Awards yearly to local high school seniors. The students have demonstrated the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.

Awards were presented in May to the following:

Sydney Smith, Little Cypress Mauriceville High School; Sarah Kidder, Bridge City High School; Demaric Judge, West Orange Stark High School; Rebekah Newell, Orangefield High School; Tristen Anding, Community High School and William Johnson, Vidor High School.
