More general cleaning needed at JJ Wings and Seafood, 2246 MacArthur Drive in Orange, according to a recent health inspection report. The routine inspection resulted in a score of 83 out of a possible 100. Demerits included raw shrimp found uncovered, chemicals found next to food, and the restaurant not having a current food service permit.

Demerits include: dry storage food found sitting on the floor, chemicals stored next to food, no hot water at hand-washing sink, and storing foods in plastic grocery bags.

Score: 87

Demerits include raw meat and vegetables incorrectly stored inside coolers and freezers, ‘clean’ dishes found with food still on them, as well as several chipped plates and containers, as well as areas around the grill and fryers in need of being cleaned.

Score: 92

Demerits include the store not having any sinks to wash dishes and restrooms not in working order.

Demerits include chemicals being stored above pet foods and plastic utensils, not having a current food service permit and storing bottled drinks on the floor.
