The City of Pinehurst Police, Fire, Water and Street Departments are currently going door to door making contact with businesses and residents that they expect to be affected by rising flood waters. For residents not at home, a door hanger with important information will be provided. Again, this information is being distributed only to businesses and residences expected to be affected by rising flood waters.
The City of Pinehurst is under a voluntary evacuation notice for those businesses and residences which include MacArthur Drive at Adams Bayou, certain homes on 29th, 30th, 31st, 33rd Streets as well as areas of Peacock, Camelot, Lancelot, Somerset, Enchanted Oaks, Bayou Bend and Concord previously affected by hurricane Ike. Questions may be directed to the Pinehurst Police Department at 409-886-2221 or the Pinehurst City Hall at 409-886-2221.
