Closings due to weather concerns

Beginning noon on Monday, March 14, 2016 due to current effects of inclement weather, The Stark Cultural Venues and Administration Office of the Nelda C. and H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation will be closed until further notice.
Stark Museum of Art – 712 Green Avenue in Orange
The W.H. Stark House & Carriage House – 610 Main Avenue in Orange
Shangri La Gardens – 2111 West Park Avenue, Orange in Orange
Lutcher Theater – 707 Main Avenue in Orange
Stark Foundation Administration Office – 601 Green Avenue in Orange
For the safety of the public and staff, the decision has been made to close all venues and cancel or reschedule upcoming classes, events and performances through March 22, 2016 unless otherwise indicated at a later date.
Kristin Chenoweth – The Lutcher Theater’s presentation of Kristin Chenoweth has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 14, 2016. Patrons who have purchased tickets will be able to redeem them for the rescheduled performance on that date. If unable to attend, ticket-holders may contact the Lutcher Theater Box Office via email at boxoffice@lutcher.org beginningTuesday, March 22, 2016, to arrange a refund.
City of Orange City Hall, the Orange City Library and the City of Orange Municipal Court will be closed starting Tuesday at 8 a.m. until further notice.
The City of Orange has canceled the Music Fest that was scheduled at the Riverfront Pavilion for Saturday, March 19 from 1p.m. to 6 p.m.
The boat ramp site for sandbags has been closed.
National Guard Armory site has been moved to the Parking Lot at Memorial Field site and is open.
Given the predicted flooding of the Sabine River, the Lamar State College-Orange campus will be closing Monday, March 14 at 3:00 p.m. and remain closed for the remainder of the week. Anticipated date to reopen is Monday, March 21. Developments and conditions of the campus will be sent out as information becomes available.
