Students, Samuel Palmer, top row left,Christine Qi, Briley Martin, David Tippins and Amy Boaz, Parker Watkins, bottom row left, Avery Odom, Sofia Harrison and Allee Palmer in Brenda Jones fourth grade math class built a Lego Mindstorms robot. It took them approximately 5 weeks, working on it in 30-minute intervals per day to complete the Tracker. When it was finished, they shared with the rest of their class how they can use a remote to control their programmable robot. In the future, they will be working on finding a way to program their robot to interact with them in various ways. The students commented that they learned how to work together, trouble shoot and problem solve.
