A driver mistook the gas pedal for brakes when she struck Taco Bell at approximately 9:45 p.m. Tuesday evening according to a police report.

The vehicle jumped a curb before hitting the front door causing the glass to break.

A manager on duty told police no one witnessed the incident and only heard the sound of breaking glass.

The manager also reportedly looked through the lobby and saw the car backing up and the front glass door already shattered. The manager made sure the driver was uninjured prior to contacting police to report the incident.

No charges are being filed.
